Argentina is a country that it current population is around 36 million of which almost half live in the province of Buenos Aires. . It’s one of the most advanced cities that I’ve ever heard about because it has an enormous influence of Europe and it is very civilized. It has a lot of buildings and shopping malls. As we know the Argentineans are Spanish speakers. Argentina is a well developed country because it has an excellent economy in contrast to Colombia that we always have lived in a kind of bankrupt.
Argentina was a colony from Spain and it also was influenced by Italian immigrants in the 18th century. And the statistics says that the 95% of Argentineans are white and principally descendants of Italians and Spaniards. With the pressure of the massive European immigration the indigenous Indian population has practically disappeared. As Colombia, Argentina has a lot of fauna and flora because in the south of Argentina there’s a huge quantity of forests and animals, like in Colombia.
The differences between Colombia and Argentina are that, Argentina has four seasons and Colombia doesn’t have it. Argentina is a developed country and has a lot of job opportunities in contrast to Colombia that doesn’t have it. Another difference between Argentina and Colombia is that the southern country is very secure because it doesn’t have wars and you can stay out late because it almost doesn’t are robberies, in contrast to Colombia that staying out late is a high risk because is very insecure, and when you travel you have to be very careful where you’re going to go.

Working overseas

To work overseas you’ll need to have in mind a lot of aspects because everything is different from here because you graduate from school or university with another kind of diploma and you’ll need to make it valid, going to the embassy of the country you will go and work with. The diploma is not the unique problem because being a foreigner obliges you to have a working visa and it is very difficult to reach it, because the embassy will study your visa request for a long time ago, and sadly being Colombian it make a longer time on queue because our situation as a country is not as good as we wish and the image that we have against the whole world is very bad, that’s why all the countries and their embassies including the Argentinean embassy are very tough taking decisions on Colombian people requests.
Also, you have to get your residence, because without a residence you won’t get job easily that’s another visit to the embassy and another extended waiting line.

When you finally get all the papers in order you need to work overseas obviously you are not always welcome on the country you will go, is just luck, because the locals are very closed and if they know you are foreigner you will be rejected from everywhere. This situation is not in all the cases because if you are a good worker and you make the hardest effort among your co-workers you will be necessary and a very important tool to the company you will work with. Finally and as a conclusion I would like to say that working overseas is not a complete chaos, there are also good news and good experiences with your work, but reaching that happiness is a tough way but it is possible.

Smoking in public

One thing that I really hate is inhaling other people’s stale cigarette smoke against my will. It's about time to ban smoking in public places in the world and stamp smoking out once and for all
.
I am aware that in this days and age, smoking becomes common things for the people. They always smoke without concern about the surroundings. Some people thought smoking can liberate their tension and can relax their mind, but the nonsmokers should have the opportunity to breath without a cloud of cigarette smoke around us.

As we all know Smoking in public places remains an important issue nowadays. Some people think it should be banned in hospitals, restaurants, government offices, buses, subways, train stations cinemas, and other public places but it would be a discrimination for those who smoke, this could sound contradictory but they also have rights, and they are humans also, and they should be treated with respect because they are not monsters, they only have bad habits and vices that anyone can have for several reasons.

It is well known that smoking can be harmful for the organism especially the lungs and the heart, but the problem is that being a nonsmoker can be harmful also, because we are always breathing impurities such as the cigarette smoke and we become into a second hand smoker, and we also have a high risk to reach a lung cancer or a heart attack, we have the same probabilities as a really smoker have.

I was a smoker a long time ago that’s why I can write in both parts, as a smoker and as a non-smoker. So previously I talked as a non-smoker now as the smoker that I was. It was very uncomfortable that the non-smoker people controls our cigarettes and our way of smoking telling us that we couldn’t smoke in public places and that we must respect nonsmokers. That was very annoying because there weren’t anything better than smoke a cigarette in peace and tranquility without a non-smoker telling us the things that we should do.
I am writing in both bands because I want people to learn and see that it is uncomfortable that someone smoke near us but it is also uncomfortable that someone says the smokers to stop smoking. We must be tolerant with each other, that’s why there is violence in the world because we are always annoyed with the other people acts

Professional Risks

In sports journalism there is not much risk as in ordinary journalism, thats because the sport journalist it doesnt take many dangerous decisions o risks which could lead one to be killed or losing a family member or an acquaintance. In sports journalism the big professional risk is that there are few job opportunities, and more in Argentin, as it is a job that is very competitive and there is a lot of demand for jobs by the new journalists and the unemployed ones.

Obviously there are risks in each of the professions in the world, but we can say that in sports journalism one of the risks is also the fame, because as a journalist i can become the most popular or begin to mishandling the fame and become the worst journalist in the world, because the public does not like the arrogance and especially in journalism. Another major risk is not have a good salary, because as I said previously there are few job opportunities and hence there are few jobs with a good pay. If a journalist, does not prove their abilities appropriately, probably they will never reach the popularity, fame and money. Of course that money is not the most important stuff, but it makes an important role in our lives and not only in journalism, doctors, engineers, nurses, psychologists, business administrators and lawyers need a good income to survive in their fields and in their lives.

Not to mention another risk is that being a journalist, and not only an sports journalist, any journalist, has a bigger risk. Is to change your personality and not to be yourself, to hide the truth because of pressure from any person who does not want to be published the news or the true story. Through threats they want to achieve our silence. But the work of a journalist is always to tell the public or the audience the true version of all the events, and if anyone wants close up our mouths, or the same government or a company wants to violate freedom of expression or freedom of press we should go on and tell everybody the truth because as a journalis these are the two important tools and also a shield with which a journalist works every day to combat corruption and to show the true facts.

Relationships

Argentina has always been characterized by its people, their good sence of humor and its amiability in front of the people of its country and including with the foreigners.
